The following update has been issued by Ajay Owen, Director of SARS Cymru.

[IMMEDIATE RELEASE]

As many of you know, I am a former trustee (currently removed due to false allegations) of a prominent organisation based across Dyfed. I am not holding back and am hoping many people read this.

Yesterday (27/05/2025) has unveiled a disturbing series of events, revealing what I would describe as a targeted campaign of harassment, false allegations, and potential misconduct by multiple parties & agencies. I still remain committed to keeping my name free from Slander & Malicious Complaints.

All of this comes after I received communication from the CEO of the organisation where I served as a trustee, detailing an ongoing investigation by Pembrokeshire County Council. This letter, inexplicably delayed until after investigations and meetings had commenced, shockingly states that a “crime has been logged” against myself and that they “could not come to a decision” in this meeting and that “further investigation will commence”. I can assure you that there is nothing to decide or determine, this is a baseless claim and even Pembrokeshire County Council cannot acknowledge what I am being investigated for.

A significant development in this unfolding narrative concerns a complaint regarding the alleged “misuse of blue lights”, which I have now managed to trace back to Welsh Water and their employees/contractors. The individual (an ex-employee of Welsh Water) explained to me that the original complaint was from my sister's ex-partner, who was contracted via Morriston Water Services to work for Welsh Water. This individual made a false complaint to his department, stemming from a PERSONAL vendetta and a misguided attempt at humour involving myself pulling over "one of the boys." This employee had named another person who IS currently an employee of Welsh Water. In response to this, I have formally contacted Welsh Water, demanding the alleged footage of the incident of myself. I also intend to issuing cease and desist orders to the individuals involved. I have requested the footage and any complaints made/data held by Welsh Water & its contractors, and are exploring options for compensation regarding slander & misuse of data on their behalf.

Further compounding the situation, a complaint against myself lodged with the Neighbourhood Watch network by a police officer - magically after I made a status regarding them not acknowledging my emails or letters, Dyfed-Powys Police have now formally launched an investigation into this officer's conduct and other officers that have been/are involved in this. Adding another layer of complexity, it has come to light that the same officer also made a social services referral concerning myself. This too is now under investigation by Dyfed-Powys Police. I am making it clear right now that if this investigation does not yield a satisfactory outcome, I will be escalating the matter to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), again.

Whilst I am here, I am also going to address the false and malicious domestic abuse call made to the police. There were claims that concerns were of discussion regarding alleged domestic abuse on-going, I can assure you that no form of domestic abuse is happening in my home, nor will it ever be happening in my life ever again - I will not stand for it. Having personally experienced domestic abuse in the past, Il condemn such actions. I am extending an open invitation to anyone with genuine concerns (and knowledge of my address) to contact myself or my wife directly, rather than reporting it to the police, I would be more than happy to discuss to discuss any worries to alleviate your concerns.

In a second, equally disturbing incident, I am going to disclose that a team (currently involved with us) accidentally revealed the identity of an individual who made a separate social services report. This individual will also be reported to the police for malicious complaints and time wasting, and will be served with cease and desist order.

Like I said, I’m going to be open and transparent with everything that is going on. I am underscoring my commitment to integrity. I have never hurt anyone and those around me know I have a heart of gold and wouldn’t hurt anyone on purpose. I want to reiterate that if anyone has any legitimate concerns regarding my “professional conduct” or myself being in a "trusted position", then it should be directed to my company, not to organisations I am affiliated with - that way, I can then follow it through the appropriate channels rather than organisations that do not need to be involved.

ALL my actions have been "by the book," devoid of any conflict of interest, and consistently intended for the greater good. I am going to highlight my previous efforts in holding services accountable for safeguarding lapses and other issues. I have evidence of Pembrokeshire County Council officers and managers, including a Safeguarding Manager scoping my LinkedIn, including other team members at PCC weeks before any referral went in. Which by no shock is a pattern of pre-emptive scrutiny by the council, predating the formal complaints/allegations.

This clearly raises serious questions about due process, the handling of complaints, and the potential for abuse of authority. I remain steadfast in my pursuit of justice and accountability for all parties involved, no matter who they are. I would be more than happy to present evidence in court and to any investigation on-going.

I welcome any interview by Police, Local Authority & relevant teams - but would also like to be transparent that these will be recorded for my own documentation & as evidence for when this goes to court as I do plan on taking this a lot further than it is. I do not deserve to have my reputation ruined and have members of the publics money (YOUR MONEY) be wasted on trying to take a small business owner, trustee, community individual & family man down.

Not on my watch.
