Our Story
Founded by Ajay Owen and based in Pembrokeshire, we are a dedicated, independent non-profit organisation focused on enhancing community safety, fostering regional resilience, and providing a voice for public accountability across Wales.

Who we are
We have an amazing team & Board of Directors - Essential for the policy making & decision making of our teams - we also have dedicated volunteers who are on the frontline, supporting Wales across Wales.

We operates a dedicated, volunteer-supported public information network designed to mitigate risk during acute regional disruptions. We deliver real-time, verified intelligence concerning severe weather events, critical transport infrastructure failures, and localised safety hazards. This service reduces strain on statutory emergency services by providing the public with actionable, preventative guidance.
Healthcare Advocacy & Statutory Accountability
A cornerstone of SARS Cymru’s portfolio is our commitment to safeguarding foundational public infrastructure. We lead high-impact civic campaigns aimed at maintaining equitable access to emergency medical care across Wales - most notably spearheading successful legislative petitions to the Senedd regarding regional hospital service provision. We continuously evaluates public service delivery, local council expenditure, and infrastructure management to ensure compliance with public interest standards.
Independent Public-Interest Journalism
To sustain an informed electorate, we manage independent digital media platforms, such as our OneWales Substack. These outlets provide rigorous, investigative coverage of public policy, local government funding allocations, and community welfare issues.
